about erin
Erin Shivone, owner of Just Be Holistic Wellness, began her journey into massage and bodywork after experiencing first-hand how beneficial it is to the body and soul. In 2008, she graduated from the Aloha Institute of Massage and Healing Arts and promptly opened her first studio in Kailua, Hawaii. Her training in Hawaii didn’t stop with graduation. Her teachers instilled in her the spirit of aloha—compassion, peace, and love—and this allows her to hold space for and help her clients.
Essential oils play a large part of Erin’s holistic approach to healing and she to brings them into sessions. Their restorative properties are essential to the health and well-being of her family, occupying their “medicine cabinet” until needed to treat various ailments.
Yoga had always been a big part of Erin’s life and, like most yoga students, she craved a deeper understanding of the practice. She trained and received her RYT200 hours at Aloha Kula. Before the course was over, she felt the need to share this beautiful and ancient practice. She is trained in Vinyasa flow with a heavy emphasis on Iyengar.
Erin believes that the picture of one’s health and well-being is a combination of multiple factors. With the tools of bodywork, yoga and essential oils, she offers her clients an awareness of and guidance toward a healthy path. Erin is also a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, assisting her clients in seeing the larger picture and treating the body as a whole. By combining the elements of her training, her clients are able to physically, emotionally, and mentally get more out of the sessions, finding peace and happiness.
Erin’s mission with Just Be is to offer a compassionate and supportive environment with a focus on using massage, yoga, meditation, essential oils, and health coaching, to help her clients not only heal, but find balance and joy in their lives as well.
Erin lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with her husband and two boys. She enjoys being in nature, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
